Umuahia North State Constituency: I’m On A Progressive Assignment, Amalambu Declares
Rev’d Blessed Amalambu, ADC – African Democratic Congress House of Assembly aspirant for Umuahia North State Constituency, has said that his ambition to represent his constituents was inspired by God’s divine mandate.
To this end, he declared that Umuahia North State Constituency will witness accountability, righteousness, truthfulness, justice, fairness and equity in his activities at the House of Assembly, when duly elected as a legislator.
Declaring his intention to represent his Constituency in the forthcoming 2023 House of Assembly election at the ADC Abia State Secretariat, Umuahia, Amalambu, who is the Abia State Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN maintained that politics and governance remains God’s institution and it was designed for His people who religiously uphold His ethics.
His words, Politics is not a dirty game and as believers in God we have much to bring to politics, which include a deeper commitment to justice and compassion.
” God has mandated me to change the narrative and I have heed to that call to come and clean up the mess, the perceived dirty aspect of politics, so that other men of God will continue from that.
“Our problem is that we left governance in the hands of the wrong people, so I have come to right the wrongs and I have come to ADC not just to try my luck but to bring ADC to the State House of Assembly and we’ll partner with ADC Abia State governor to give a remarkable leadership in the state, come 2023.
“I strongly believe that leadership is service unto God by selflessly serving men”.
Receiving the aspirant on behalf of the party, the State Party Deputy Chairman, Mazi Kanu Kanu, who represented the Chairman, Mr. Obinna Don Norman lamented that Abia State is earnestly yearning for good governance and enjoined Rev’d Amalambu to embrace aggressive grassroots campaign when the time comes, as ADC remains the credible alternative for Umuahia North State Constituency and Abians in general.
