UCCIMA Celebrates Nigerian Workers, Felicitates Muslims On Eid-el-Fitr Celebration


Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture UCCIMA has extended its good wishes and greetings to all Nigerian workers on this year’s May Day celebration, describing them as key drivers of the country’s multi-facet development.

In a goodwill message made available to newsmen in Umuahia, the UCCIMA Chief Servant, Chief Chidi Aruoma maintained that there can be no economic growth without the contribution of workers, hence the need for the government to ensure that workers are adequately rewarded and well catered for.

While saluting the workers for their resilience, dedication and contributions to national development, Chief Aruoma encouraged them to continue to put in their best in any sector they find themselves, stating that their efforts shall never be in vain.

Chief Aruoma disclosed that the most recent signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, ZNCC was part of the positive steps taken by the UCCIMA to provide a focused business empowerment as the engine for economic growth to Abia Entrepreneurs as it is obtainable at Zimbabwe.

He also seized the opportunity to felicitate the Muslims on the Eid-el-Fitr celebration and encouraged them to always embrace and put into practices the lessons attached to the celebration.

Chief Aruoma equally called on them to see the national peace, progress, development and oness as paramount and topmost prority, as there can be no nationaldevelopment without economic development.
