UCCIMA Boss sends condolence to Diya family over former VP’s Death

The Chief Servant of Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, UCCIMA Chief Chidi Nkem Aruoma has stated that the integrity, legacy and high value service of the former Vice President of Nigeria, Lt. General Oladipo Diya (Rtd) will remain evergreen in “Our memories”.
In a condolences to the Diya’s family over the death of the former Vice President, Aruoma described the news of his death as most shocking because of its suddenness and the fact that it happened when his advice and wise counsel was needed most.
The UCCIMA boss prayed to the almighty God to receive the soul of the departed and comfort his loved ones.
The message made available to newsmen in Umuahia by the UCCIMA Chief Servant partly read, “I and on behalf of my family, commiserate with the Diya family on the passing on to glory of Lt. General Donaldson Oladipo Diya (Rtd) GCON, LLB, BL, PSC, FSS, mni.
“Daddy was indeed a great and good man who touched many lives positively. May his very kind soul rest in peace”.
It was gathered that Diya passed onto glory in the early hours of Sunday, 26th March 2023.
