As the world observes the year 2022 Valentine’s Day (Lover’s Day) today, the youth has been reminded that the only way a young person would stay on the path of purity, is by living according to the word of God.
A clergy, Pastor Chris Chukwuma Amaechi made this known to the Anglican youth group at St. Stephen’s cathedral, Anglican communion, Umuahia, Abia State during the opening ceremony of the year 2022 Diocesan Youth Summit (3rd diocesan annual youth summit) with the theme, “Bearing the Ark in inquity”, drawn from the Bible book of 1Samuel chapter 4 verses 1 to 11.
Pst. Amaechi, a guest preacher in the event, encouraged the youths to strive to preserve the presence of God in their lives particularly in this contemporary time.
Pst. Amaechi counselled the youths not to play with their consecration and to depart from all act of wickedness; corrupt practices; life of disobedience to God’s commandments among other sins.
The clergy who took his text from the Bible book of Exodus chapter 25 verses 8 and 40, advised the Christian youth to be carriers of the glory of God in order to do exploits for Him.
