SSA On Tourism And Entertainment Hands Over State Tourism Plan For Devt, Says Abia To Participate In The Year 2021 Edition Of Naija7wonders

Abia State has been shortlisted as one of the participating states for the year 2021 edition of Naija7wonders (the Search for the Seven Wonders of Nigeria).

To this end, Queen Onyekachi Atulomah, the Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor has received in audience, Chief Ikechi Uko, the Project Director of Naija7wonders to officially hand over Abia State Tourism Plan for development.

Speaking during the event which took place at the Naija7wonders Nigerian Headquarters Office in Lagos State, Atulomah disclosed that she would also meet and present the plan to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

She disclosed further that the meeting with her boss (Gov. Ikpeazu) would afford her the forum to equally discuss the way forward of Abia State at the National and International Tourism Scheme.


She pointed out Abia has climbed up the leader in tourism sector grading/rating as according to her, “We move with heavy alacrity, we are not where we used to be, Abia State Tourism is getting bigger”.

Atulomah who lauded Governor Ikpeazu for his support in the tourism sector, encouraged Abians keep voting for the State in the search for the Seven Wonders of Nigeria event, to make it to finals.

For the records, Chief Ikechi Uko, the Project Director of Naija7wonders is also the organiser of AKWAABA African Travel Market; Publisher Atqnews and Travellers Magazine/TV. He is the most influential Tourism Expert in Nigeria and internationally.
