Prof. Ibe will enact women friendly laws, Campaign Council assures Osisioma Ngwa voters
The Abia Central Campaign Council of Prof Greg Ibe, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA governorship candidate has assured voters in Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A, of Abia State of the enactment of women friendly laws, when Prof. Ibe emerge victorious at the polls.
The State Woman leader of Prof. Greg Ibe campaign council, Hon. Chief Mrs Stella Nwaohamuo who x-rayed the essence of women affirmative action in governance and in political party administration and why it needs to be supported while addressing the people of Osisioma Ward 2 in Umuocheala council hall; Amasator ward 3 (numbering over 1,000) in Club 25 of Nigeria, National Headquarters, Abayi, Aba and Osisioma Ward 10 in Okpu Umuobu primary healthcare center field, during the ward tours, urged the women to support the on-going efforts to give birth to a new Abia State.
Hon. Mrs. Stella Nwaohamuo, the first elected woman in Amasator ward 3 in Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A and first woman majority leader in Abia State legislative council noted that with the right leadership in place, residents of the state would be able to fulfill destiny without unnecessary stress.
Nwaohamuo, who reiterated the avowed dedication of the APGA guber candidate to the economic growth of Abia State through Entrepreneurship, maintained that Prof. Ibe is dedicated to the growth of women particularly in Abia State.
In his speech also, High Chief Lucky Erondu, Zonal APGA Chairman Abia South, who foresaw Abia’s total liberation in sight, also enjoined Abia women not to lose hope but use their voting strength and make Prof. Ibe the number one citizen of the State, to enable him place them on their rightful position.
Erondu assured the women that under the watch of Prof. Ibe as Governor, Abians would no longer be allowed to suffer hardship.
Earlier in his speech, the team leader, Prof. Greg Ibe Campaign Council, High Chief Enyinaya Onyekwere disclosed that the party needed a guber candidate and candidates with integrity and capability to win elections, hence the choice of Prof. Ibe, whom he described as a capable and credible candidate with integrity, the electorate are looking for.
He urged eligible voters, especially those in Osisioma Ngwa who are yet to get their Permanent Voter Cards, to ensure they do so before the exercise ends.
Onyekwere who explained that the PVC is the tool that citizens have to enthrone good governance and that anyone who does not want to complain about bad governance should get actively involved, reiterated that there would be all-inclusive governance if every stakeholder gets involved.
Onyekwere who also predicted a new dawn for the state after the successful election of Prof. Ibe therefore encouraged Osisioma Ngwa voters to collectively work for the party’s victory in all elections to ensure that Prof. Ibe and APGA’s project of growth and development for the State is assured.
Mr. Sunday Anyanwu, APGA Osisioma Ngwa South State Constituency candidate; Youth Chairman, Gregory Ibe Youth Support Organization, Anthony Ugwunna Chibueze; Osisioma Ward 2 Chairman, Mr. Peter Azuka, Mr. Chibuzo Akwarandu, Amasator ward 3 Chairman; Chief Bartholomew Nwabekee, Osisioma Ward 10 Chairman among others in their respective speeches, assured Prof. Ibe of support of the L.G.A to ensure his victory at the forthcoming guber election.
They also, resolved to work with him and the party to achieve the noble goal of making sure APGA unseat the ruling party in power and also capture Osisioma Ngwa South State Constituency.
