The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in the just concluded 2023 guber poll in Abia State, Prof. Gregory Ibe has offered his condolences to former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani whose wife, Mrs Jane Nnamani, died on Monday in Enugu State.

Jane died in Enugu after a brief illness. She was 58.

In a condolence message to Chief Nnamani, Prof. Ibe expressed his sadness over the news of the passing of the spouse of the former Senate President, describing it as sudden, distressing and devastating.

The message read, “The unsettling social media report conveying news about the untimely death of your wife and soul mate, Mrs Jane Nnamani has left me in distraught, bewildered and totally devasted.

“Let me therefore use this medium to convey sincere commiseration and deep condolences to you personally our dear leader, and the entire Nnamani clan on this unexpected and very unfortunate misfortune that has befallen your family.

It is my fervent prayer that the good Lord will grant you sufficient courage and fortitude to bear the passage of your wife  with phlegm and equanimity, while I commit to offering sustained support especially as you navigate this painful tragic trajectory.

“While tarrying in prayers for you, it is our daily intercession that your late wife Mrs Jane Nnamani obtains solace in the bosom of the Almighty”.
