Mindful of the fact that education is a mind-expanding gift that can broaden ones horizons and enrich ones life, Prof. Gregory Ibe Education Intervention Scheme has further distributed thousands of exercise books to the pupils and students from Abia North senatorial district to boost their morale.

Flagging off the exercise for Abia North senatorial zone at Collins Memorial College/Ohafia central school field, Elu-Ohafia in Ohafia L.G.A, of Abia State, the Director General Abia Crusader Foundation, Prince Emeka Okafor disclosed that the Scheme was designed to cater for the educational needs of Abia students.

Prince Okafor further disclosed thatProf Ibe, who is the Chancellor of Gregory University, Uturu clearly understood the importance of education and that was the major reason he decided to distribute freeeducation materials to aid learning among students and pupils.

He encouraged the Abia students to expect more from the scheme as Prof. Ibe has put a lot of resources to support education across the zones in the state, revealing that over 600 students are currently on scholarship in the Gregory University.

Prince Okafor who expressed optimism that when Prof. Ibe becomes the Abia State Governor, come 2023 he would create more opportunities for education and businesses to thrive, using his rich international contacts.

He encouraged the teachers, students and pupils to fervently pray for Prof. Ibe to succeed in his lofty dreams for a better Abia.
