Prof. Greg Ibe 2023: APGA major stakeholder distributes fuel to keke riders, call for support


In support of Prof. Gregory Ibe, APGA gubernatorial candidate for Governor 2023, Mr. Charles Ukeagu from the Abia Good Governance Forum, AGGF Directorate has sponsored a free fuel for all tricycle (Keke) riders in Umuahia, Abia State capital.

The free fuel exercise which took place at SDON petrol station, Mission Hill, Umuahia was also to identify with the riders as important stakeholders in the state.

While addressing the Tricycle riders at Prof. Greg Ibe campaign office, Mr. Ukeagu assured the beneficiaries that this is just the beginning of good things to come, pointing out that Prof. Ibe has a listening ear and has always shared in their experiences, pains, that hopefully if he gets their mandate to serve as Governor that they would definitely testify to better living and quality governance by themselves.

His words, “Considering his capacity and humanitarian activities, coupled with his better programmes for tricycle riders, Prof. Ibe will transform Abia”, He assured.

He further disclosed plans of the APGA gubernatorial candidate to get Keke riders integrated into his activities and passionately advised them to carry out a valid analysis of all the 2023 governorship candidates’ background and intention before casting their votes.

Mr. Ukeagu maintained that a vote for Prof. Ibe represents unity, peace, fairness and justice for not only Abia North people but all truth loving Abians.

He appreciated the position of Keke riders in information dissemination and encouraged them as foot soldiers to continue to carry the message of Prof. Ibe to all the nooks and crannies of the State.

Lending his voice, Prof. Ibe Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Sleek Ogwo who exposed and expounded most of the activities of Prof. Ibe including his philanthropic/humanitarian services, assured that if duly elected, that Prof. Ibe will run an all inclusive Government.

Interacting with our correspondent, a beneficiary, Mr. Uchenna Ahiwe hailed the sponsor for the free fuel supply, which he said would add value to the Keke rider’s business.

Another rider, Samson Udochukwu, assured Prof. Ibe of the votes of the riders, describing him as the “true friend of the masses”.

In their respective speeches earlier, the Chairman, Abia State Tricycle Riders Welfare Union, ATRIWA Mr. Uzoamaka Orji and a member, Mr. Chimezie Nduka prayed to God to grant Prof. Ibe victory and all his heart desires, adding: “We pray this day that God makes your Divine Mandate victorious”.

Many of the beneficiaries who decorated their tricycles with the posters of Prof. Ibe, while they got the free fuel turned the filling station to a carnival of sorts as the riders hailed the gesture.
