Political solution still possible, Bishop Ibeabuchi, Anglican CMF speaks on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case

The Christian Men Fellowship, CMF of Anglican church Umuahia diocese have urged the advised the Federal Government to withdraw the appeal already filled at the Supreme Court by the Attorney General of the Federation, Mallam Abubakar Malami against the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Delivering a presidential address at the 13th Diocesan CMF conference at St. Stephen’s cathedral, Umuahia, Abia State, the Rt. Rev’d Geoffrey Ibeabuchi, Anglican Bishop of Umuahia diocese, strongly believe that such action if strictly adhered to, would be in the best interest of Nigeria.

He moreover appreciated the Judiciary for being the last hope of the common man, following the series of victory of the IPOB leader recently.

His words, “We join all the good people of the Southeast, Nigeria to rejoice over the victory of our son and brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the Appeal Court. As a Conference, we join all well-meaning Nigerians to request the Federal Government to seek a political solution to the problem of the Southeast and leave Mazi Nnamdi Kanu alone. We cannot be excluded from the affairs of the nation and at the same time forced to keep silent”, Bishop Ibeabuchi stated.
