Hon Chief Offor Okorie, the All Progressives Congress, APC stalwart has assured party faithful that the immediate past Minister of Mines and Steel Development (State), Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah’s benevolent act will be a continuous program.

In a release made available to newsmen in Umuahia, Okorie expressed happiness that he has been vindicated with the show of love from Dr Ogah to the party  when he told the world and Nigeria in a press conference in Abuja that Dr Ogah is the pillar of APC in Abia state.

He maintained that anything anything done in Abia APC without the involvement of Dr Ogah is exercise in futility and a total fallacy.

According to him, Ogah is use by God to bless the people that put their trust in him. As an extraordinary leader, adding, “Dr. Ogah is a force to reckon with in Abia politics”.

The release partly read, “Abia State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress under the leadership of Hon Goldie Nwagbara recieved an extraordinary thank you message from her leader and sponsor Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah for standing by him through out the process of his gubernatorial primaries and Court cases that eventually lead to Supreme Court.

“Dr. Ogah thank the party for remaining one united family, and for standing firmly with the truth, not minding the outcome of the Supreme Court judgment. He promised to continue to support  the party financially and morally anytime such request is made. Amongst those invited for the event were the ward chairmen, deputies, secretaries , women and youth leaders in all the 184 wards in the state, the APC lga chairmen, deputies, secretaries, women and youth leaders, in all the 17 LGA ,party executive and major stake holders in Abia State APC. Each and everyone that attended the program that was numerically noted to be 1,910 went home with a bag of  25kg sand free rice, a cash gift of N20,000 to each invitee from the lga,  a cash gift N10,000 for each invitee from the ward level.

“From his kind heart,  Dr Ogah also  donated a brand new two 18 seater hummer buses to the state youth leader Mr Chibueze Apugo on behalf of Abia APC youth wing, and the State women leader Mrs Ezinne on behalf of the APC women wing. This bring the number of brand new buses donated to the Party by Dr Ogah to 4”.

Okorie who thanked Dr Ogah for his continuous support to the party, pleaded with him not to leave the party behind in anything he does.
