“No Job Vacancies”, Varsity Notifies The Public, Warn Fraudsters

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, MOUAU says it is not employing anyone presently and any advert for job vacancies in the institution is fraudulent.
In a press release tagged “Public Notice On Fraudulent Online Advertisements For Vacant Teaching And Non-Teaching Positions”, signed by the University’s spokesperson, Adanma Odefa and made available to newsmen in Umuahia, Abia State, the institution stated that all the employment opportunities goes through a genuine process which is overseen by the Federal Government.
The release encouraged the public to be vigilant and also verify information through the official communication channels of MOUAU.
The release partly read: “It has come to the notice of the management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike that some unscrupulous persons are currently misleading the public by publishing fictitious advertisment for vacancies in several teaching and non teaching positions online.
“The public at large is hereby notified that Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike follows a formal recruitment process, which is completely overseen by the Federal Government of Nigeria and does not outsource the preliminary or final selection of prospective employees to any private individual or agency”
