Her words, “It’s been a lot of fun and learning and have been very rewarding. It has been a very reaffirming experience and I am looking forward to handing over the baton to the next President. As with other AWEP past Presidents before me, the wheel of Leadership and Governance has to go on, so our commitment to you and to the success of your businesses, our country and to the world has to go on.
“When we took over the mantle of Leadership two years back, our theme for our tenure was, MAMS representing- Mentoring; Access to opportunities, finance and information; Markets; Support. Despite the global disruption occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, we kept our promise as best as we could under the circumstances. My wish and prayer for everyone here and all our members is that you all continue to experience success, to feel fulfilled in all you do, and to have nothing but pleasant results with each completed project. It’s been a pleasure serving you. I take with me fond memories, valuable skills, deep knowledge and great relationships”, Ajala recounted.
