Massively Vote For Otti And LP Candidates To Prove Election Result Manipulators Wrong, Obi Tasks Abia Electorate

The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections in Nigeria, Mr. Peter Obi has urged all lovers of good governance and party supporters in Abia State to remain firm, despite the outcome of the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

Obi, who made the call during a chat with journalists at Sam Mbakwe  Airport Owerri, Imo State en route Abuja, also urged the eligible voters to prove manipulators of the presidential election wrong by massively voting for Dr Alex Otti, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Abia State for the March 18, Guber and the State House of Assembly elections..

While assuring the Obidients that he will reclaim his mandate through a legal process, Obi also encouraged the voters to vote in all Labour Party candidates in the State House of Assembly election.

His words, ” I could not campaign much for our Governorship candidates because of the presidential campaign activities and election. For instance, Dr Alex Otti could not host his Mega Rally because of these reasons, so I want Obidients in Abia to rally him round and vote for him”.

He urged Abia supporters to complete what they had started on February 25 by voting en masse for Labour Party candidates in the March 18 elections, adding that a movement that cannot be stopped had commenced.

” I must urge the Labour Party supporters not to be discouraged by the outcome of the presidential election.

“Nigeria must not be allowed to remain the way it is. There must be a paradigm shift from the present state to a better and prosperous Nigeria”, Obi said.

The former governor of Anambra state also said, “We have begun the journey of a new Nigeria. The movement is real, and nobody can stop it. We will not allow Nigeria to remain the way it is. We will continue to vote for Labour Party,” Obi said.

He disclosed that a retreat would be organised for all the victorious candidates of the Labour Party to teach them what to do in the quest to change the political narratives of the country.

Mr. Julius Abure, the national chairman of the party, also told newsmen that the LP candidates for the House of Assembly election in Abia State had not stepped down for anyone and that no Labour Party candidate was being sponsored by any other party.

He appealed to the residents of Abia state to come out en masse to vote for Dr Alex Otti and other candidates of the party to secure victory.
