Marriage Is Certified By God, Apostle Ndifreke James Counsels Couples On Christ-centered Home

Parents have been enjoined not to be stumbling blocks to the marriage of their children, but to pray fervently for their success.

In his sermon captioned “Harmony In Marriage”, with text drawn from the Bible book of 1 Timothy chapter 3 verse 4 to 5 at Victory Power Base Covenant Church, Umuonuoha Umuajiji, Isieke-Ibeku, opposite Freedom Guest House, Ukome road, Umuahia, Abia State, during the solemnization of Holy matrimony between Evang. Chidire Christiania Onyemauchechi and Pst. Onyemaechi Ibegbulam, the officiating priest, Apostle Dr. Ndifreke Abasi Nelson James (JP) counselled parents not shun charging fixed prices or over commercialise marriage rites thereby scaring away their daughter’s prospective and genuine son-in-laws.

He pointed out that God’s blessings follows any man who fulfilled all the marriage rites before going in with his partner.

He disclosed that the easiest way to get to hellfire is to have a home built in hatred, bitterness and quarrel and enjolned the couple to desire and strive to build a home that is centered in Christ.

He maintained that marriage is honourably fitted by God, adding that God certified marriage when he brought Adam and Wife together in the garden of Eden, hence the need for couples to crave and embrace patience, tolerance, joy, love and happiness and allow the good virtues live in their respective homes.

Apostle James reminded husbands that any man who could not rule his home, would never be a servant of God.
His words, “The Man is nothing without a woman at home. God ordained a woman as the strong bone of the man. Women are builders of the men and in every successful man, there is a woman”.

Bishop Anthony Etim; Archdeacon Emmanuel Amaugo; Pastor Cyprian Ajah (JP); Pastor Michael Erim; Pastor Eno-Abasi Jacob, Pastor Nice Abiakwumadu and Evang. Okey Ndubuisi also officiated during the wedding service.
