Late Chief Mpama Was A Team Player Who Displayed Creative Ingenuity – ASOPADEC Boss

The Sole Administrator of Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ASOPADEC, Chief Emeka Stanley has led a team of ASOPADEC former Chairmen and Board Members to a condolence visit to the family of a former Commissioner in the Commission who died recently, late Chief Uche Mpama.

In a remark during the condolence visit at the residence of the deceased, Adelabu Estate in Umuahia, Chief Stanley described the late Chief Mpama as a brother in the Commission’s family and a team player who displayed creative ingenuity while in the Board of ASOPADEC and the other areas he had offered his services to the State and humanity.

Chief Stanley who expressed shock over the death of Mpama, according to a press release made available to newsmen in Umuahia by Mr. Iyke Onuegbu, Head Media/PRO, regretted that he died when his wealth of experience was highly needed.

Chief Stanley who also prayed God to comfort the family to bear the irreparable loss, recalled that the deceased served meritoriously for 7 years in the Board of ASOPADEC and requested the family to inform the Commission about his burial arrangements.

Also speaking the Pioneer Board Chairman of the Commission, Barr. Samuel Nwogu said late Chief Mpama was a jolly good fellow man who made outstanding contributions to the development of the Commission and the State at large and urged the family to bear his death with fortitude.

Responding, the wife of the deceased Mrs Ngozi Mpama expressed gratitude to the former colleagues of her husband for their show of love and care to the family and promised that the Commission will be duly informed about the burial arrangements of her husband.


Highlight of the occasion which saw in attendance  former Colleagues of the deceased in the Board Of ASOPADEC who include, Chief Peter Agumba, Dr Chike Nwannunu, Chief Goerge Nnanna Kalu, Mr Chiagozie Ajuonu, a former  Member of the outgone Board, Chief Orji Udeagha and former Chairman of Ukwa West LGA, Chief Felix Ebere among others, was a special prayer offered by Eze Luke Uche for the deceased family.
