The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate for the March 11, 2023 poll in Abia State, High Chief Ikechi Emenike has encouraged the voters in Isiala Ngwa South L.G.A, to massively vote for him and Hon. Lady Blessing Uwaoma Nwokonneya, candidate for Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency, to enable her occupy a principal position in the legislative house.

Speaking at Ntighauzor Primary School, Umuosi during a campaign rally, Emenike decried that Abia has lost 24 years in the hands of deceitful administration and incompetent leaders.

He pointed out that Hon. Lady Nwokonneya and other candidates of the party were carefully elected by the party’s delegates because of their integrity, selflessness, commitment and credibility, the virtues, he observed that other candidates of the other political parties are lacking.

Emenike who promised to institutionalize a monthly welfare system for widows in the State, assured that he will not only give the women their rightful place in his administration but will also abolish all laws that are inimical to the survival of the womenfolks.

He assured that each local government area of the State under his administration will have Industrial zone.

In her speech, the Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency APC candidate, Hon. Lady Blessing Uwaoma Nwokonneya assured that she will not only represent the Constituency effectively but will also engage the Constituents in empowerment/enablement programmes, geared towards making them financially independent.

She assured High Chief Ikechi Emenike that the APC will win overwhelmingly in Isiala Ngwa South, adding, “Isiala Ngwa South is out to put you in the Government House and God will make our prayers come true”.

Chief Ephraim Nwokonneya, the Isiala Ngwa South Coordinator in a remark pointed out that the APC is deep rooted in the area more than what could be seen in other areas in Abia Central district.

Nwokonneya who asserted that APC is alive and kicking in the area, decried the damages done by maladministration and poor governance to the State, passing the message of hope that High Chief Emenike is coming to rescue and develop Abia.

He reminded the electorate that what is owed the APC guber candidate is massive support for him and Hon. Lady Nwokonneya, the State House of Assembly candidate.

Speaking respectively,  the deputy governorship candidate, Mrs Glory Akara, the Abia APC Chairman, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, Pioneer Chairman of the party, Barr. Fabian Okonkwo, APC Local Government Chairman, Nze Ngozi Nwoke, Candidate for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, Hon.Chijioke Ikpo encouraged the voters to shun sentiments and elect all APC candidates at the polls as the party parades stainless candidates.
