IWU PG Votes, Tells “Desperate Politicians” To Allow Peaceful Transition Of Government

The President General of Igbo World Union, IWU His Imperial Majesty, Sir Mishak Nnanta KJW KSM JP has commended the improved system of voting introduced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Speaking to our correspondent, shortly after casting his vote in his home town polling unit 006 at Umudu hall in Umuajata-Olokoro in Umuahia South L.G.A, of Abia State, Nnanta, the Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum described the process as not only fantastic but seamless.
He appreciated the eligible voters in the entire Umuajata-Olokoro autonomous community for their peaceful disposition and the serenity the environment recorded during the voting process.
His words, “You can see, our people for the first time in the election history in the area are peaceful, there is brotherly love, everywhere is calm. There is the atmosphere of maturity and everyone is voting according to his or her conscience”.
Nnanta seized the opportunity to appreciate the INEC for extending the voting time for the polling units, where the election materials arrived late and for extending voting to February 26 (Sunday) 2023, in the areas that couldn’t vote.
Nnanta who is also the National Patron of the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC and Southeast Chairman Patrons of Nigerian Hunter and Forest Security Service NHFSS Southeast passionately called on the security agencies to bring to book those disrupting the votings at some polling booths at Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and other areas as reported.
