It’s time to obey the biblical injunctions on good leadership, MCN Presbyter tasks the electorate, as Amalambu promises not to disappoint the Church
Voters in Umuahia North State Constituency, Abia State have been called upon to submit to biblical injunctions, especially in the forthcoming general election in the discharge of their civic rights.

Speaking when Rev. Blessed Amalambu, the House of Assembly candidate for African Democratic Congress, ADC visited Methodist Church Nigeria, Umuire, Nkwoachara ward in Ohuhu clan, the Presbyter, Very Rev. Emmanuel Reuben, who decried that most Voters have neglected the injunction of the Holy book, which tasked the people on good leadership that leads to the success of a nation.
He pointed out that genuine development springs up in a society where God lives in the lives of both the Local, State and National leaders.

The Presbyter who encouraged the congregation to shun politics of sentiments, selfishness and vote selling, maintained that a new Umuahia North State Constituency, a new Abia and a new Nigeria is possible when the electorate vote wisely
Reuben who also pointed out that Rev. Amalambu is on a mission, divinely ordained by God, clearly observed that most of the candidates in the House of Assembly race do not have a track record to boost of.
While praying God to rescue Nigeria from shackles of evil doers, desperate and greedy politicians, the MCN Presbyter informed the congregation that God used Amalambu to save the Church from most of the unfriendly bills, which died as a result of his intervention.
Earlier in his speech, the ADC Umuahia North State Constituency candidate, Rev. Blessed Amalambu said it was the divine will of God on him to serve Him and humanity.
He reiterated that he was not contesting for the legislative seat to amasss wealth or gain cheap popularity both the present political terrain demands a genuine christian who will boldly come out and create a change and stop bills that are or will be inimical to the Christian faith.
Amalambu who reeled out some of the bills he debated on, which include: the CCTV bill, tax on church establishment among others, insisted that, “I am most credible, intelligent, reliable for this job”.
Amalambu also promised to always disclose Ohuhu Constituency allowance to the people, which he said will be the first of its kind in the history of Umuahia North State Constituency.
