Insecurity: Work On Your Roles, IVG Advises Fathers
The President General, Igbo Vanguard Group, IVG Engr. James Nnadozie Uchegbuo has said that the present security situation in Nigeria would be minimal if not zero when fathers appreciate and assume their rightful position in the family.
In a press release tagged, “Christian Fathers In The Time Of Insecurity”, signed and made available to our reporter in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, Engr. Uchegbuo pointed out that most problems facing the various Communities across Nigeria is a fall out of the fathers not living up to their expectations.
He further informed that single parenthood has equally contributed to the failure of families in the area of insecurity, adding, “It creates an avenue for dangerous peer groups to take over the very responsibilities of fathers and impose bad habits, which led to insecurity in the society.
The IVG PG reminded fathers that they are the chief security personnel of their families, the communities and the nation at large, with an enormous responsibilities imposed upon them by God through the Biblical Adam.
Engr. Uchegbuo stated that it means every father should live up to the Biblical didactic dictum.
