The African Democratic Congress, ADC candidate for Umuahia North State Constituency, Rev. Blessed Amalambu has pointed out that adequate maintenance of assets is more than a culture, but an economic gateway to prosperity.

He pointed out that maintenance culture will ensure sustenance, adding, “the need for the consciousness of maintenance culture cannot be over stressed if the Ohuhu Constituency is to attain her full potentials”.

He harped the need for the government, politicians, individual Nigerian to maintain public assets and properties the way they maintain their personal property.

According to him public property is a collective property and must be maintained very well by all or whoever is in position to do so.

While also pointing out that maintenance culture is concerned with the planning and control of construction resources to ensure the necessary repairs and renewal, Amalambu said that maintenance culture has been recognized as an important aspect to increase the quality of maintenance work to extend the life capacity of the assets and facilities.

Rev. Amalambu told the Amaogwugwu people that his coming out to contest the Ohuhu Constituency was divine and as such should religiously work to ensure his victory in the House of Assembly poll.

In their respective speeches, Pastor Augustine Sunday, Mr. Chidi Okedi among other persons appreciated Rev. Amalambu for coming out to right the wrongs in Ohuhu Constituency and prayed God to enable him to succeed.
