Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency needs Prince Obinna Nwosu for effective representation, says Rev. Amalambu


In the choice of Federal legislative representation in the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal House of Representatives seat hotly contested by 7 candidates under the divides of Ibeku clan, the PDP, ADP and APGA; Umuahia South, the YPP and Ohuhu clan, Labour Party, APC and the African Democratic Congress, ADC  to the forthcoming February 25, 2023 National Assembly election, the Alike Positive Change, a pressure group has been reminded that integrity should serve as an ingredients for effective representation.

Addressing the group in Umuyota civic hall on behalf of Prince Obinna Nwosu, the ADC candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rev. Blessed Amalambu who is also the candidate for Umuahia North State Constituency, said having religiously observed the disposition and plans of Nwosu for the Constituents, he disclosed that Nwosu has set for himself a task to give effective representation to Ikwuano/Umuahia people.

 Amalambu expressed optimism that Nwosu would not only serve the people of the constituency diligently and impact lives positively if elected but will collaborate with him as a law maker representing Umuahia North State Constituency to deliver the dividends of democracy to the Ohuhu Constituents.

According to him, the well-articulated programmes  of Nwosu will be tailored to address the deprivations that the people of Ikwuano/ Umuahia  Federal constituency had suffered over the years.

“I wish to say this is not just the usual deceptive campaign theatrics of politicians. This is not also to engage in unfulfilled promises at every election season like this. Obinna Nwosu intend to serve through effective and efficient representation and by bringing the dividends of democracy to the people of the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal constituency”, Amalambu also expressed optimism.

Responding, the Alike Positive Change Chairman, Mr. Chidozie Ukachi, said time has gone when the electorate vote according to party lines, even as he encouraged the eligible voters in Alike to wake up and maximize the opportunity given to them and vote in Nwosu and Amalambu as the first lawmaker from Nkwoachara ward and Ohuhu son for Federal House of Representatives.
