
Gov. Ikpeazu Commissions ABSU Alumni Project

The 80 million naira worth 44 bed model and ultramodern Postgraduate hostel built and donated to ABSU management by Zenith Family Environmental and Social Protection Network, (ZESPRONET) a non-governmental organization and Alumnus of Abia State University, Uturu, has been commissioned by the state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

Commissioning the project during the 27th and 28th combined convocation of ABSU, Gov. Ikpeazu commended ZESPRONET for giving back to their Alma Mater and called on other Alumni Association of ABSU to borrow a leaf from the group.

ZESPRONET International President, Dr Boris Chukwuemeka Oji, in his speech said the group would also embark on more projects in addition to the 44 rooms hostel.


According to Dr. Oji who was represented by the National President, Sir Okere Bidwell, the hostel would be maintained and managed by ABSU management.
He noted that it is their wish to meet the hostel in good condition anytime they visit the institution.
