Good Governance And Progressive Change In Nigeria Is Achievable Through Peter Obi, IWU Advises The Electorate

The Igbo World Union, IWU has called on lovers of good governance and progressive change to vote for the Labour Party candidate, Mr. Peter Obi in the February 25, 2023 Presidential poll.

Speaking on behalf of the Union in Umuahia, Abia State, the IWU President General, His Imperial Majesty Sir Mishak Nnanta KJW KSM JP, Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum pointed out that it is only Obi that has the divine grace of leading Nigeria to its promise land.

Nnanta who decried that wrong leadership selection process and corruption has been the major problems slowing down the pace of growth and development of Nigeria, critically examined the policy documents, visions, missions and promises of the Presidential candidates, and observed that Obi has no match in the race.


Nnanta, who is also the National Patron and Chairman Southeast Patrons of Nigerian Hunter and Forest Security Service, NHFSS seized the opportunity to appreciated the sterling performance of hunters in Nigeria, which led to the discovery of a bag containing uncollected Permanent Voter Cards.

Recall that an unnamed hunter was reported to had discovered a bag filled with thousands of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in a forest in Anambra State.

The discovery of the PVCs is coming barely four days before the presidential and National Assembly Elections.

It was gathered that the hunter stumbled on the bag containing the PVCs during his hunting exercise on Tuesday in a forest in Akamili, Umudim, which is a community in the Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

It was also gathered that he took the PVCs to the premises of Authority FM, a local radio station in the community, apparently to publicise the discovery to the owners of the PVCs for collection.

Nnanta reassured Nigerians that NHFSS under the Commandant General, Amb. Wole Joshua Osatimehin will keep securing the forests and the hinterlands to ensure that there is a free, fair, credible and transparent polls.

He passionately appealed to other security agencies to work in harmony with the NHFSS for the smooth monitoring of the elections.

He also encouraged the eligible voters  to turn out en masse and cast their votes wisely to make Nigeria great again and regain its position as the giant of Africa.
