The President General of Igbo World Union and National Patron of Nigerian Hunter and Forest Security Service, His Imperial Majesty, Sir Mishak Nnanta KJW, KSM, JP has passionately appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to sign into law, the NHFSS bill as soon as possible to help remedy the insecurity currently bedeviling the country.

This is even as he pointed out that the numerous problems facing the country is as a result of maladministration, poor governance and poor leadership.

Speaking during a special event in the Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum palace Umuajata-Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, Nnanta maintained that Nigeria is richly blessed with the resources needed to better the lots of the common man.

Nnanta who also decorated Joshua Osatimehin, Commander General of NHFSS with ‘Onaputara agu ihe n’onu Ndigbo Dum’ and the Owerri Provincial Man of Order and Discipline Movement, MOD Council (001) Chairman MOD Lt. Col. Emmanuel John Bosco Agina with Ogbu Agu Ndigbo Dum awards, expressed optimism that insecurity will soon be reduced to the barest minimum as God in His infinite mercy has come down to rescue, liberate and restore Nigeria.

Nnanta who maintained that God has special interest in the forthcoming general election in Nigeria, appreciated the efforts of the MOD and NHFSS in fighting the cause and course of Nigerian security, adding that soon, Nigeria will be free.

Nnanta, the NHFSS Chairman of Patrons (Southeast) who described the traditional rulers as the chief security officers of their communities, assured that he will move round to enlighten them of the activities of the NHFSS.

Addressing the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal House of Representatives Candidates of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA Engr. Ogbonna Abarikwu; Action Democratic Party, ADP Chief Paul Nmeregini and a representative of Prince Obinna Nwosu of African Democratic Congress, ADC, Nnanta, encouraged them to go their respective business of politicking with clear conscience and be people centric and as well jettison politics of/with bitterness.

In their speeches, the Owerri Provincial Man of Order and Discipline Movement, MOD Council (001) Chairman MOD Lt. Col. Emmanuel John Bosco Agina and Joshua Osatimehin, Commander General of NHFSS represented by Barr. Okonkwo Lawrence, Deputy Commander General NHFSS appreciated the efforts of Nnanta, who is also the NHFSS Chairman of Patrons (Southeast) as it affects the unity, peace, justice, progress, prosperity and development of NHFSS and Nigeria as a whole.

The NHFSS boss seized the opportunity to call on the southeasterners to join the group, disclosing that soon President Muhammadu Buhari will signed into law, the NHFSS bill.

“This is the time to bring in your children to be NHFSS members. We have many unemployed graduates scattered around, educate them to come and join us and I promise that they will never regret joining the Hunters”, he assured.

The NHFSS Assistant Commander General in charge of protocol, Obioma Nnazor; NHFSS Imo State Commander, Fabian Iwuoha, among other dignitaries attended.
