Fish Out Bad Eggs Amongst You, Gov. Ikpeazu Encourages Muslims

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has encouraged Muslims in the state to assist the Government to fish out the bad eggs amongst them whose aim is to create unnecessary religious tension in the State.
The Abia State Governor in a press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka and made available to newsmen in Umuahia, also tasked them to eschew those things that create religious tension.
While rejoicing with Muslims in the State on the occasion of the Eid El Kabir celebration, Gov. Ikpeazu urged them to vigorously pursue and entrench the ideals of peaceful coexistence and the virtues of tolerance.
The Governor also congratulated them on this year’s Sallah celebration and challenged them to imbibe the characteristics associated with the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SWT) like humility, sacrifice, love, peace and unity.
He thanked Muslims in the State for keeping the peace, noting that the Muslims in the State have been great advocates of peace and have remained law abiding.
He assured Muslims and indeed, all Abians that his administration shall continue to uphold the religious rights of every citizen and provide enabling environment for the sustenance of peace and harmony amongst all those living in the State.
