“Faith And Religion Should Not Stop You From Participating In Women August Conference”, Ugoeze Onwuka Counsels Abia Central Women
Abia women, particularly those from Abia Central have been advised not to shy away from women annual August Meetings that is beneficial to communities.
Ugoeze Ifeyinwa Onwuka, the wife of the Towe l of Umutowe Autonomous Community of Olokoro in Umuahia South LGA and the third Deputy Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Godfrey Onwuka advised that shying away from the meetings is of no use as the benefits of the meetings are being enjoyed by all irrespective of faith, creed or race.
According to Ugoeze Onwuka, the occasion allow community women to assist in community development through building of skill acquisition centres, schools, community halls, empowerment of the indigent in the community.
“Women should not allow religion and faith to stop them from identifying with such community development initiative through women August Meetings.
“This is because, such set of women will still enjoy the benefit of such developmental efforts”.
According to her, August Meetings in the state have the approval of Abia first lady and urged women in Abia Central to ensure they imbibe series of seminars that come with the meetings for their benefit.
Ugoeze Onwuka, the third deputy Chairlady Abia State Ndi Ugoeze and Chairlady, Ndi Ugoeze, Abia Central congratulated all women in Abia central over their August Meetings.
