A Sociocultural organization, the Igbo Vanguard Group, IVG has encouraged the Abia State Governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti to integrate the guber candidates of like-minds to see Abia blossom.

Speaking through their President General, Engr. James Nnadozie Uchegbuo in Umuahia, Abia State capital, the organization which shared the view of bringing people of like-minds, x-raying their manifestoes and harmonizing same, will be the best approach to rescuing and developing Abia after the perceived years of rot.

The Organization which said, “This has become necessary, considering the decades and years of decay and backwardness of Abia State due to bad governance”, asserted that a unity Government of combined manifestoes of like-minds will be very good to restore the State in terms of infrastructural development and quality leadership.

IVG expressed optimism that the administration of Otti will usher in a new vista of pleasure for Public and Civil servants and pensioners.

“Otti has all it takes with the assistance of like-minds to turn Abia State around for betterment of the citizens. Civil servants and pensioners will have their salaries and pensions and other welfare packages paid promptly. Our youths through the new Government will have a new orientation of life”, IVG President General stated.

The Organization which also tasked Otti to ensure that the State moved into a befitting Government House under his watch, also encouraged the Governor-elect to ensure that the State has a master plan.
