Eid-el-Kabir Celebration: Shun Life Of Hypocrisy, Imam Enjoins Muslims

Moslem faithful has been enjoined to shun the life of hypocrisy, as Allah abhors such.
The Imam of Umuahia Central Mosque, Alhaji Umar Lawal gave this charge in his preaching which centered on hypocrisy in religion at the Umuahia Township Stadium, Abia State shortly after the prayers to mark year 2021 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Admonishing the moslim faithful, the Imam frowned at the attitude of some Moslems who live a life of deceit, living a holy life in the morning and displaying evil manners at night. Interacting with a cross section of Journalists, the Chairman, Nigeria supreme council for Islamic affairs, Suileman Ukandu appreciated Allah for the gift of life to witness the year’s celebration, revealing that the celebration is significant as it was the time Allah tested His servant, Abraham, to confirm his faith, which also attracted the blessing of Allah.
He called on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love and unity and faith which God teaches.
Speaking respectively, Shettima Ogah and Musa Abdullahi expressed joy for successful Ei-del Kabir and prayed God to sustain them with sound health to witness next year’s celebration.
