Choose The Title You Can Comfortably Defend, Chief Ejimofor Counsels Prospective Chiefs


Abia State born German based philanthropist, Chief Osondu Ejimofor has said that chieftaincy titles command respect and value and not gotten easily, hence the need for prospective Chiefs to carefully choose the titles they can comfortably defend.

Chief Ejimofor of Umuzuka-Umuosu in Okaiuga Nkwoegwu autonomous community, Ohuhu clan made this known to newsmen shortly after he was conferred with ‘Omemgboji’ chieftaincy title by Eze Kingsley Emekobum, the traditional ruler of Okpu Isingwu autonomous community, Umuahia North L.G.A, of Abia State.

Chief Ejimofor disclosed that over a decade he has been affecting lives meaningfully and the testimonies of his humanitarian gesture abound.

His words, “God has already ordained me with Omemgboji title before I choose it. I have been helping the masses, indigent and widows for 18 years now. Even at Germany where I am a truck driver, the Igbos over there can attest to my philanthropic activities”. 

Recall that in Igbo land, chieftaincy titles are conferred only on illustrious men and women who have distinguished themselves in one thing or the other through commendable and developmental projects/activities.
