Be good examples of motherhood, AGGF Boss advises mothers

As Christian mothers of the Pentecostal bloc celebrates the year 2023 mother’s day, the founder of Abia Good Governance Forum AGGF Dr. Charles Ukeagu has encouraged mothers to strive to be transformed to the image of Christ.
In a message to Christian mothers in Abia State made available to our correspondent in Umuahia, Dr. Ukeagu also called upon them to be good examples of motherhood in their homes and workplaces, as they are carriers of God’s image.
His words, “Mother’s day celebration calls for mothers to renew their sense of responsibility as helpers in the home. It is also a reminder to mothers of their roles as builders and co-defenders of the home. This year’s celebration should also serve as an essential reminder to mothers that they are an integral part of society and deserve recognition and appreciation for their responsibilities. It is an opportunity to renew their commitment to their families as responsible and efficient co-providers, peacekeepers, and influencers of their children’s behaviours and personalities”.
Ukeagu, however decried that most homes today are filled with killings, divorce, and wayward children among others, simply because some mothers have failed to embrace Jesus who is the builder of every home.
While encouraging most mothers to wake up and return to their responsibilities, Ukeagu expressed optimism that, “by continually praying and presenting their problems to God, they can be confident that the good Lord will honour them and bounce back.
Ukeagu who pointed out that Mother’s Day Celebration was designed to honour and celebrate the unconditional love of a mother, said it is impossible to reciprocate the immense love and contributions of a mother in a single day,
According to him, mother’s Day is a chance to appreciate and celebrate mothers for their roles in society.
