Be Christ Ambassadors In Your Schools, Anglican Bishop Counsels DOCOMOYUP…As Church Holds Junior Synod
Young Christians have been enjoined to always partake in the process of taking an honest inventory of their lives to see where they need to seek transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In his charge at St. Andrew’s Church, Nsukwe/Amibo, Ubakala, Ubakala North Archdeaconry, Umuahia, Abia State, during the year 2022 Anglican Communion Junior Synod, the Anglican Bishop of Umuahia diocese, The Rt Rev’d Dr. Geoffrey Obijuru Ibeabuchi maintained that self-reflection is a powerful tool for one to grow and encounter God in the inner workings of one’s heart.
According to him, self examination is a spiritual practice that can powerfully deepen one’s relationship with God.
“Have time to check yourself, examine your attitude, character, behaviour, relationship with God and commitment and connection with the things of the Church because there will a roll call tomorrow”, Emeruwa advised the Synod participants.
He hinted that the Synod would afford them the avenue to train the participants so that they will be properly equipped to make heaven at last.
