Abia State Govt’s e-learning programme will bequeath a worthy legacy for posterity –  Ajuzie


The Abia State Ministries of Basic and Post Basic Education says that the State Government’s e-learning programme was conceived to lay a solid foundation for education to thrive in the State and also bequeath a worthy legacy for posterity.

In his remarks in Umuahia during one of the demonstation classes, the Permanent Secretary of the Education Ministries, Mr. Eze Ajuzie disclosed that once the programme is launched online, the pupils, students and undergraduates will be given the link to access the term/ semester lessons on-line.

Ajuzie said, “the essence of the teaching demonstration programme is to bring the teachers up to speed with current e-learning practice globally to ensure that no stone is left unturned in the preparatory process.  Right now, we are beginning with the Primary, Junior and Senior secondary school levels in the program geared towards ensuring that there is no break in the academic development of Abia Children.

Interacting with our correspondent, a Professor in the Department of Foreign Language and Translation Studies, Abia State University, Uturu, Prof. Mrs Kate Ndukauba lauded the initiative and expressed optimism that the Education Ministries will deliver on their mandate to transform the Education Industry in the State.
