He lamented that over dependence on Western culture has exposed Nigerians and Africans to uncultured practices like gay marriage, lesbianism, among other strange cultures.

He encouraged the traditional rulers, political leaders and all lovers of Igbo culture and traditions to wake up and revive the culture and save the black continent from suffering from cultural imperialism, a way of life exported from onecountry to another through movement of cultural goods.

King Agwu who also conferred chieftaincy titles to notable personalities across Nigeria, who include the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, the president and founder of Akuchukwubuikem Foundation, Amb. Emmanuel Chukwuebuka Ijezie, said the honour was in recognition of their immense philanthropic gestures and humanitarian aid to youth, the elderly, widows, orphans, the sick and less privileged in the society.

He pointed out that the people of Ajatanaigu autonomous community are well aware of their exemplary community and humanitarian services and are proud to be associated with them.

On the state of the nation, King Agwu described that the activities of sycophants who circled around President Muhammadu Buhari, made him not to see that all is not well with Nigeria.

His words, “There is an increase in electricity tariff, fuel pump price is high, the cost of living in Nigeria is high, if Mr. President is not getting what he want and what Nigerians expects from him, he should change his economic team and replace them with younger and vibrant brains, who knows how to remedy the financial crisis facing the country.

“Honestly, President Muhammadu Buhari should look inwards and rejig his economic team. Those advisers who always encourage him on constant borrowing should be kicked and replaced with qualified professionals with pedigrees.

“We are in the digital, model and modern world but it is unfortunate that majority of Mr. President’s advisers and cabinet do not know what it means to be in a digital world. The present world calls for creativity and most of our leadership composition in Africa are more than 70 years”, King Agwu advised.
