Comrade Victor Onyeanwuna Orji has been appointed as the new State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Abia State, succeeding Mrs. Regina Iroha, who now serves as the Zonal Director of NOA’s South-East office.

In his inaugural address, Comrade Orji praised Mrs. Iroha’s leadership and urged the staff to extend their support to his administration.

He highlighted discipline, hard work, punctuality, and dedication as the cornerstones of his leadership.

Orji expressed gratitude to NOA’s Director General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, for his transformative leadership, which has significantly revitalized the agency, enhancing its visibility and establishing a framework for citizen enlightenment and mobilization.

He called on the staff to intensify efforts in fulfilling the agency’s mandate, which includes value re-orientation, citizen enlightenment on government policies, and providing feedback to the government.

In her farewell message, Mrs. Iroha thanked the staff for their support and wished for continued harmony in the office, while also encouraging support for her successor.

Mr. Igwe Kingsley, Deputy Director of Human Resource Management, congratulated Comrade Orji on behalf of the NOA Abia State, describing his appointment as well-deserved.

He commended Orji’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence, expressing confidence in his ability to inspire and empower the team.

The handover ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Mrs. Gloria Abiakam, Chairman of the Association of Heads of Federal Establishments Abia State chapter, Apostle Emmanuel Agomuo, Chairman of the Abia State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, and Sheik Ali Ukaiwo, Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board, among others.
