In a decisive move to curb criminal activities, the Commissioner of Police for Abia State, CP Danladi Isa, spearheaded an operational patrol along the Aba–Port Harcourt–Enugu Expressway on Friday.
During the patrol, CP Isa emphasized the importance of professionalism, vigilance, and civility among officers, issuing a stern warning against extortion and misconduct.
In a related development, the Abia State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, under the directive of CP Isa, successfully raided a notorious criminal hideout in Uratta, Aba.
This operation, conducted by the Rapid Response Squad on January 20, 2025, led to the recovery of six stolen vehicles, including an ash-colored Toyota Camry (Reg No: LSD 885 CX) and a navy blue Toyota RAV4 (Reg No: AG 743 BRR), among others.

These vehicles, primarily stolen at gunpoint, were seized during an intelligence-driven sting operation.
Several suspects have been apprehended, and efforts are ongoing to capture additional accomplices.
The police have urged individuals with legitimate claims to the recovered vehicles to present their documents at the Command Headquarters for verification and retrieval.
