In a recent interview with our correspondent at his residence in Umuahia, Abia State capital, the President General of Igbo Ekene Global Development Union (IEGDU), Ambassador Moses Onyegbule, emphasized the significance of International Quality of Life Month for Nigerians.

Highlighting the importance of this observance, Ambassador Onyegbule noted that the month serves as a reminder of the beauty and diversity inherent in global cultures.

He said, “From languages and customs to a variety of cuisines, this period offers an opportunity to appreciate cultural differences, which are invaluable in today’s interconnected world”.

He further encouraged individuals to focus on personal well-being during this month by making positive lifestyle changes such as increasing physical activity, adopting healthier eating habits, and finding ways to reduce stress.

“Let’s unite this month to work towards a better future for ourselves and our families,” he urged.

Records indicate that International Quality of Life Month was established in 1994 with the aim of inspiring people worldwide to enhance their quality of life.
