The Abia State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Danladi Isa, has welcomed 199 newly graduated constables, all natives of Abia State, who have been assigned to serve within their local communities.
This strategic deployment is in line with the Inspector General of Police’s vision to enhance community policing and encourage practices that are friendly to the public.
Addressing the new constables, CP Isa highlighted the importance of their roles in their communities, urging them to apply the training and discipline acquired at the police college.
He emphasized the need for civility, professionalism, and a strong stance against corruption, indiscipline, and misconduct, warning that any deviation would result in disciplinary action.
CP Isa encouraged the constables to diligently learn practical policing functions and to perform their duties with integrity and respect for the law.
