The Commissioner of Police for Abia State, CP Danladi Isa, has announced the reactivation of the Command’s Radio Communications Office to operate continuously, addressing the security needs of Abians in 2025.
He cautioned that Strategic Officers who fail to promptly respond to radio directives will face disciplinary measures.
In his address to the Communications Department, CP Danladi Isa highlighted the department’s crucial role in maintaining state security and revealed that the office’s coverage now extends statewide.
To ensure seamless communication, the Police Commissioner stated that necessary equipment has been installed, and outdated systems have been upgraded to enhance efficiency in managing directives and responding swiftly to security emergencies across Abia.
He urged officers to remain duty-conscious, proactive, and diligent in their roles.
Additionally, he mandated that the control room operate round the clock, with technicians available daily to promptly resolve any technical issues.
The CP emphasized that laxity, indiscipline, and negligence among officers would not be tolerated.
