In celebration of Christ’s birth, renowned philanthropist and businessman Dr. Chima Anyaso has called upon leaders of Bende Local Government Area of Abia State to prioritize peace, love, and unity during the festive season.

Following an exclusive Christmas gathering with esteemed Bende figures in Umuahia, Dr. Anyaso emphasized the joyous spirit of Christmas, choosing to celebrate with his brothers across Bende’s 13 wards.

Highlighting the significance of unity, love, and peace, especially during the yuletide, Anyaso acknowledged the leaders’ contributions to Bende’s growth, which inspired the festive get-together.

Expressing his passion for sharing, he noted that Christmas is the ideal time for goodwill.

“This is a time to give back, celebrate shared values, and show kindness. I believe in community power and collective efforts to improve society. This is just one way I will continue to support Bende’s well-being, and I encourage others to do the same,” Anyaso remarked.

Anyaso also known as ‘Ofuji’ underscored the importance of dining with his people, regardless of political affiliations, emphasizing their brotherhood before politics. “Politics should never divide us,” he added.

Dr. Anyaso distributed various food items, including rice, groundnut oil, and essentials, as a token of appreciation for their support and commitment to Bende’s progress, wishing them a prosperous new year.

In their goodwill messages, former Bende LGA chairman Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa and retired Permanent Secretary Pat Irokansi expressed gratitude for Anyaso’s thoughtful gesture, noting its role in strengthening community unity.

They highlighted Anyaso’s philanthropic spirit and his deep desire to uplift his community, praising his unwavering support for Bende’s people and promising reciprocal gestures.

They urged Abia leaders to emulate Dr. Anyaso’s philanthropic nature.
