Traditional rulers in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State have extolled the remarkable performance and qualities of Chief Emeka Atuma, a former legislator who represented the Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency.

The royal fathers, including Eze Christopher Anyaegbu, HRH Eze Ben Oriaku, among others expressed their admiration during a traditional event held at Eze Onyeoruru’s palace in the Umuigu Ajatanigu autonomous community, Oboro clan.

 They praised Atuma’s contributions as a former legislator and encouraged him to continue his commendable efforts.

They also bestowed prayers of blessings upon him.

King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu, the traditional ruler of the Ajatanigu autonomous community, specifically highlighted the beneficial relationship between Atuma and former President Olusegun Obasanjo during Atuma’s tenure, noting the positive impact on the constituency.

In response, Chief Emeka Atuma advised the traditional rulers to remain non-partisan and assured them that Ikwuano would continue on a path of progress.

 He encouraged the kings to engage in good deeds that would be remembered, as life is transient.

Atuma expressed his gratitude to the Ikwuano kings and prayed for unity and peace among them.
