In a spirited initiative to promote health and wellness, the Itaja Dynamic Development League organized its annual “Walk for Life” on the morning of December 28, 2024.
This event, aimed at encouraging fitness and healthy living, saw enthusiastic participation from the League as they embarked on a lively walk around Itaja, accompanied by invigorating music.
The Itaja Dynamic Development League, a Nigerian organization dedicated to development, has been a registered entity since June 4, 2009, under the registration number RC-33079.
Led by Chief Barr. Mathew Obiora Usuwa, the league emphasizes the importance of physical exercise and health awareness among its members.
Chief Usuwa highlighted the manifold benefits of regular exercise, stating, “We are committed to educating our members on the significance of maintaining fitness for overall health. Our collaboration with doctors and medical experts provides us with valuable health tips and guidance.”
The “Walk for Life” precedes the league’s annual December meeting and serves as a platform to reinforce their mission of community development.
Beyond promoting health, Usuwa said that the league has made significant contributions to the community, including awarding scholarships to five students, supporting widows, and initiating infrastructure projects.
As the participants walked through the streets of Itaja, the event not only fostered a sense of unity but also underscored the league’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for its members and the broader community.
