In a heartfelt message to his community and the nation, HRM King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu, a former Chairman of Oboro Council of Traditional Rulers and the traditional ruler of the Ajatanigu Kingdom in the Oboro clan, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, expressed his gratitude to God for the blessings of another Christmas season. The King extended warm wishes for a Merry Christmas to his community and all of Nigeria.
Reflecting on the year 2024, King Larry thanked God for the divine intervention that led to the safe rescue of three school pupils in Oboro land, Amaoba autonomous community precisely who were abducted earlier in the year.
Their reunion with their families was a moment of joy and relief for the entire Oboro community, he said.
The King also expressed his gratitude for the prevailing peace in his community and voiced his optimism for even greater achievements in the future.
He conveyed his confidence that local businesses will flourish in the coming year and encouraged small business owners and farmers to strategize for a prosperous 2025.
King Larry commended the ongoing community development and economic enhancement projects in Abia State, such as the Abia Industrial Innovation Park in Ipu land, Ukwa West, the Medical Village, the Diaspora Village, and the international airport in Nsulu.
He praised Governor Alex Otti for these initiatives and the provision of free transportation for Abians abroad who wish to return home for the holidays.
The King urged the wealthy to consider ways to support their communities.
He also applauded the strong relationship between Governor Otti and the traditional rulers and expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope initiative, praying for a brighter future for Nigeria.
