It is testimony of courage and persistence, as The Straight Child Foundation, TSCF a Nongovernmental Organization known for correcting cases of Clubfoot and managing cases of Cerebral palsy, observes its seven (7) years anniversary celebration.

Interacting with a cross section of journalists in Umuahia, Abia State, the Vision bearer of the Foundation and an orthopedic surgeon, Dr Mrs Peace Amaraegbulam, said that TSCF had within the period under review, learnt a lot and would soon implement the lessons for the growth, progress and development of the Foundation.

Amaraegbulam said that the Foundation’s testimonies have outnumbered the challenges faced in the past 7 years of its existence.

Amaraegbulam said, “It is natural to have challenges in life but when you overcome the challenges, it is an exciting thing. In the last seven years, God has been faithful and He has been our help. It’s been seven years of learning, seven years of impact and seven years of testimonies from us at TSCF, testimonies from the patients that have benefitted from the care and testimonies from the parents as well. We have actually exceeded the little expectations that we had”.
