The State Coordinator of Dynamic Abia Daughters, a prominent group of women from Abia State, Nigeria, Mrs Vivian Obinna has said that the collaboration with a sociocultural organization known as Igbo Vanguard Group, IVG would build and breed a unique and unified world class cultural activities for the South-easterners in the near future.

Interacting with our correspondent shortly after a meeting with the IVG PG in Umuahia, Mrs Obinna who said that her organization has carried out numerous skills acquisition programmes for the indigent, embarked on free medical outreaches across Abia State among other humanitarian activities, disclosed that the vision and mission of IVG tallies with that of her organization.

She said that Dynamic Abia Daughters, has been fishing out distinguished personalities and has been honouring them for their outstanding contributions to the growth and development, especially their tireless efforts in empowering women, promoting education, and fostering entrepreneurship within the various communities.

Speaking also, the President General of Igbo Vanguard Group, IVG Engr. James Nnadozie Uchegbuo, who appreciated the synergy with Abia Dynamic Daughters, said that it would help to halt the rapid decline of the Igbo language, which is perceived to be under serious threat.

Uchegbuo who decried that the Igbos are fast losing their cultural identity and orientation, harped on the need to revive and preserve the Igbo cultural heritages, values and culture which encompasses a lot of things.

According to him, the collaboration would help to forestall the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) prediction that the Igbo language is among those likely to go into extinction by 2050.
