Barr. Etigwe Uwa SAN, has expressed his deepest condolences to the family, colleagues, and loved ones of Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, who passed away on 5th November 2024.
Etigwe Uwa described the late Chief of Army staff as a dedicated public servant whose selfless service to the Nation and exemplary leadership will be missed.
In his words, “I mourn the loss of a distinguished and dedicated public servant, whose selfless contributions to the Nigerian Army and our nation will be deeply missed. General Lagbaja’s exemplary leadership, professionalism, and commitment to service left an indelible mark on our country and he will be greatly missed”.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria went ahead to console the Governor of Osun state, Gov. Ademola Adeleke and the citizens of Osun state, praying that God will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“I pray that Almighty God grants his family, friends, colleagues and the entire people of Osun state, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May his legacy continue to inspire future generations.
“Rest in peace, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja”.
