It was an “emotionally raw but touching day”, for the aged women in Ndagbo Eluoma community in Uzuakoli in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State as Ndagbo Eluoma Community women married abroad distributed wrapped to selected women in the community.

The Women Group also donated 50 modern seats to Ndagbo Town Union for aid in equipping the newly built Ndagbo Town Hall.

Interacting with our correspondent at Ama Ndagbo Eluoma village square, Uzuakoli, the leader of Ndagbo Daughters Married Abroad, Mrs Joyce Nwadiuto Uche Okoroegbe (nee Nwokoro) said that the women beneficiaries were chosen based on their age (70 years and above).
She disclosed that most of the women during their active days worked assiduously to the good and progress of Ndagbo Eluoma community and the Group deemed it wise to show them love.
Mrs Okoroegbe said that that the 50 modern seats donated by Ndagbo Daughters Married Abroad was in support of the impressive development in the community and the proactive leadership of Hon. Martin Nwokoro, the President General of Ndagbo Town Union.
She encouraged the Nwokoro led administration to continue in their good works without relenting as they are ready to support them whenever the need arises.

She described their benevolence act as a selfless service to the community, adding that it is the passion of Ndagbo Daughters Married Abroad to see people comfortable.
Responding, Hon. Martin Nwokoro, the President General of Ndagbo Town Union, thanked Ndagbo Daughters Married Abroad for the donation, adding that the donation would go a long way to beautify the town hall and solve the problem of seats.
Ndagbo Daughters Married Abroad were formally inaugurated during the event.
