The President of Rotary Club of Umuahia North, District 9142, Chief Rtn. Uchechukwu Udeji (Nwa Ghana) has led a delegation of Rotarians to a solidarity visit to recuperating Rotarian Michael Ibegbulam ( Biabia), the former President of the Club, in his residence in Afuguri, Ohuhu clan in Umuahia North L.G.A, of Abia State.
The former president of the club has been undergoing treatment since his involvement in a tricycle accident recently.
Speaking during the visit to the accident victim, Rotarian Udeji, described the incident as “unfortunate”, and seized up the opportunity to call on the commuters/road users to follow the road safety tips and measures to ensure that such incidents never occur again.
Udeji, who also made a cash donation to the victim, promised on behalf of the Club to continue to support him in his challenging/trial moment.
His words, “Rotary Club of Umuahia North and indeed all Rotarians and Rotaractors in Umuahia are worried. We are all disturbed but the only thing we can say now is for the Almighty God to give you a quick recovery.
“We are here to show our solidarity and to buttress the fact that fellowship and friendship embedded in genuine love thrives in Rotary Club of Umuahia North. We want to assure you of our support particularly in this trying period”.
