The President General of Igbo Vanguard Group, IVG Engr. Dr. James Nnadozie Uchegbuo, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of the pan-Igbo sociocultural organisation Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide President General Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

In a condolence message to the Imo State Government and the bereaved family, Engr. Uchegbuo, who described the deceased as a man of many parts who made a success of all his extensive endeavours, also lauded his towering personality with an impressive record.
According to him, Chief Iwuanyanwu was one of the most successful business men in Nigeria, and also introduced strategic and visionary dimension to the modus operandi of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
He recalled that the deceased also had a remarkable political career and also contributed significantly to the growth of Nigeria’s democracy.
The IVG President General said at 82, Iwuanyanwu remained dutiful, and has also remained a person of conviction, expressing sorrow at his demise, when he had a lot more to contribute to society and the nation at large.

While praying that the Lord will comfort the family, and bless his memory always, Uchegbuo announced that the IVG would pay a condolence visit to the bereaved family.
