Abia State Health Insurance Agency has announced that funds have been made available on behalf of Thirty eight thousand seven hundred and twenty-one (38,721) vulnerable enrollees to access health care under the BHCPF scheme in the seventeen LGAs of the state.
A release made available to newsmen by Dr. Chidoziem Egwuonwu, Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, Abia State Health Insurance Agency, advised all enrollees of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) who have failing health to go to their designated primary health care centers and access free medical care.
The release urged pregnant women, children under five and the indigent elderly who have not been registered to key into the mop up digital registration ongoing in the 17 LGAs of the state to get registered in order to benefit from the health insurance program.
